I made a huge pot of spaghetti sauce today. I put sausages, pork and meatballs in it.
I thought I would post how I make my meatballs. Today I made them with ground turkey,
In a bowl I put ground turkey, 2 eggs, minced onion, minced garlic, a dash of milk, parsley, basil, rosemary, oregano, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
You can use whatever kind of bread crumbs you like. I make my own and happened to have some in my freezer. My bread crumbs are made up of bread and ritz crackers. I don't add salt to the bread crumbs because ritz crackers are already salty. But, I do add spices and parmesan or romano cheese.
After I formed my meatballs, I fried them. Some people like to bake them. Either way is ok.
Then, I put them in my sauce. I usually cook my meat sauce for at least 4 hours. Today, I cooked it for five. It just seems like the longer you cook it the better it tastes.
That's it! Easy...
